basically instead of trying to recreate parts of shapes ive made before, i just copy and paste in front (or put a square or something down) then carve the shapes i want with knife and delete what i don't need. the rest on this pic is mostly down to gaussian blur. i tend to use the knife a lot when im working with hard edged shapes.
cheers for the comment btw. you have some brilliant stuff and your mesh tutorial, looks just like what i havent been able to find elsewhere, and i look forward to using it. ive messed around with meshes before but havent been able to achieve anything workable.
Thanks mate for your comments and explanation. Appreciate it.

BTW right now I'm doing a walkthrough on how to vector a car ( Diablo ) using gradient mesh and vexel !

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
